Johnson County Sheriff to conduct DUI Saturation Patrol on Sat. 4/14/12.

Johnson County Sheriff's Dept. announces DUI Saturation Patrol this weekend.

Well, folks, the nice weather means people will be out enjoying BBQs, Royals games, etc. this weekend, and that generally goes hand in hand with drinking. So, without any surprise, the Johnson County Sheriff's Department has announced that they will be conducting a DUI Saturation Patrol on Saturday, April 14th, 2012. A DUI Saturation Patrol is not the same thing as a DUI checkpoint, but it does mean there will be many additional police officers out in Johnson County looking specifically for people who appear to be DUI or Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. This can and will affect all parts of Johnson County including Overland Park, Leawood, Olathe, Lenexa, Prairie Village, Mission, Merriam, Mission Hills, Shawnee, and Gardner.

Remember, it's always safer and much cheaper to take a cab or to arrange a designated driver than to drive when you have had too much and risk a DUI or other Criminal Charges.

If you or someone you know has been charged with a DUI or other Criminal Charges, please contact our office in Overland Park, Kansas, for a free case evaluation with an Overland Park Attorney.
