NFL Pro-Bowl Tight End Aaron Hernandez Charged with Murder.

On Wednesday, June 26th, 2013, NFL Pro-Bowl tight end Aaron Hernandez was charged with First Degree Murder, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Two Counts of Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, and Two Counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. He pleaded Not Guilty, and all signs point to this case likely heading to Trial in Attleboro District Court.

Hernandez was cut by the New England Patriots within hours of his arrest on Wednesday. This case stems from what the prosecution called the execution-style shooting of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, a supposed friend of Hernandez. Prosecutors allege that Hernandez was upset from an incident at a nightclub.

There is still a lot of information yet to come out about this case, but it is likely to be the latest media circus type high profile court cases.
