Kansas City police stopped 261 vehicles over a five-hour period Friday night into Saturday morning in a DUI sobriety checkpoint at 634 Prospect Avenue.
Both north and southbound traffic was checked. Police arrested 11 people charged with driving under the influence. They also found three people driving with suspended or revoked licenses and another nine other motorists with traffic violations.
Also, there was one hazardous moving violation, one marijuana possession and one person with a Kansas City warrant.
