Kansas City Area DUI Checkpoint Update: 4/12/13 - 4/14/13
Here what we have heard so far for this upcoming weekend in the Kansas City area:
1. The Kansas City Missouri Police Dept. plans to have a DUI checkpoint in an area known for alcohol-related crashes or arrests and will run sometime between Friday and Sunday. There will be a sign ahead of the checkpoint alerting motorists to pull over. If you are suspected of drunk driving they will likely ask you to take field sobriety tests, and possibly other chemical tests to estimate your BAC (Blood Alcohol Content). Sorry no more details, but KCMO never gives any specifics...
