Kansas City Area DUI Checkpoint Update: 4/4/14 - 4/6/14
As the weather starts to warm up the police are going to start having more and more Drunk Driving enforcement efforts over the weekends around the Kansas City Metro area. This weekend will be the first of many, here is what we know so far:
1. The Olathe Police Department has announced that they will be conducting a DUI checkpoint on Friday April 4th, 2014 starting @ 10:30 p.m. running to 2:30 a.m. At this DUI checkpoint all drivers will be contacted in an effort to look for signs of impairment. Those drivers who are found to be impaired will be arrested. Educational literature regarding drinking and driving will be disseminated.
As always we will update as we learn more, remember it's always safer to take a cab or designate a driver.
