Weekend DUI Checkpoint Update: 9/7 - 9/9
Most of the local agencies have been running DUI checkpoints / DUI saturation patrols the last few weekends on the federal grant money that ran through Labor Day, so I expect it to be a slow weekend around the Kansas City Metro area, but here is what we have heard so far:
1. Topeka - Plans have been made to conduct a DUI Checkpoint at one or more of the following locations. The checkpoint will be held sometime between 9:00 p.m. on 09/07/2012 and 4:00 a.m. on 09/08/2012. At one of the following locations:
100-200 Blocks SE 29th Street
500 Blk. NW Lyman Rd.
5000 Blk. Huntoon
4400 Blk. S. Topeka
SE 21st & Indiana
SW Gage & Emland Dr.
